Job Summary

Drive your New Accounting Career forward as an Accounts Payable Coordinator.
This position is a hybrid-remote position in Utah.You must be able to come in the office as business needs require.

As an Accounts Payable Coordinator you will:
Perform all duties and functions to support payment of invoices by verifying and completing receivable and payable transactions in accordance with UTA policy, vendor, interlocal, and/or other agreement requirements. This is an integral player in the Accounting department, actively participating in continuous improvement, month-end closing, and annual audit processes. In addition, works closely in activity with both external and internal customers as needed.  

Minimum Qualifications


High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associates degree in Accounting preferred.       


Two years related work experience with Enterprise Resource Planning System, Accounts Payables and Optical Character Recognition Software preferred.       


  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • General office procedures


  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Manage time to effectively meet deadlines
  • General math skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to:       

  • Actively participate in and apply continuous improvement
  • Research and solve problems independently
  • Operate office and computer equipment
  • Accurately file documents and maintain both manual and electronic files

This job requires regular and predictable attendance.

Pay Rate: $19.712 per hour
