Job Summary

Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the Agency’s operational and strategic risk. Develops Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework. Ensures the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization. Provides risk consultation services.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business administration, accounting, risk compliance or other business major. Master’s preferred but not required
  • Certificate of Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Certified Information Systems Risk and Compliance Professional (CISRCP), Certificate of Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC), ISO 31000 or similar certification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of risk assessment and abatement experience in the business administration, risk compliance, finance or accounting fields
  • Minimum of two (2) years of project management and supervisory experience

Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of and experience applying the COSO framework , ISO 31000 or similar risk methodology.

Skills:

  • Effective project management skills combined with detail-oriented work practices.
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to drive change and influence leaders.
Abilities:
  • Ability to prepare risk assessments, develop and implement mitigation plans, review and document processes and the effectiveness of corresponding controls.
  • Ability to lead teams and effectively coach team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects.
This job requires regular and predicable attendance.

Pay Rate:
  Starting at $87,500 - 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
