JOB SUMMARY

Under the guidance of the Director of Real Estate & TOC (“Director”), oversees the strategic planning, implementation, and management of UTA’s facilities. Regularly collaborates with the Planning Department and individual business units to project needs for new or expanded facilities. Under supervision of Director, oversees the design, entitlement, and construction of new, expanded, or renovated administrative facilities. Collaborates with Capital Development and Construction to design and construct transit-critical and maintenance facilities. Coordinates operation, maintenance, and renovations of all administrative buildings. Establishes and executes policy and procedures to manage the use of workplace facilities and has final say in the consideration of workspace requests, subject only to Director. May delegate duties to subordinates within the Facilities Development team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or other closely related field (Masters degree preferred).

 EXPERIENCE

Five years progressively responsible experience in project management, business operations, property management, regional and community planning, transportation planning, urban design, financial analysis, or workspace administration. Two years’ experience must include direct service for a public agency.

Proficient communicator with demonstrated leadership acumen.

Proficient at industry standard design software (i.e. Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and project management software.
