Job Summary

Provides analysis and reporting for UTA capital development program under the general direction of the Senior Manager of Budget & Financial analysis in conjunction with the office of the Chief Development Officer (CDO), including financial analysis, budgeting and reporting support for CDO organization. Supports executive, senior managers and project managers in preparing and monitoring capital budgets. Also assists in forecasting and management of long range capital plan financial model in direct consultation with CFO and CDO. Supports individual project managers in financial aspects of capital project and in reporting and consulting on financial matters.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economic or equivalent experience in Finance with a Bachelors degree.  

  • Master’s degree in Business or Finance preferred. 

  • CMA or CPA certification would be a plus.
 EXPERIENCE
  • Five to eight years in financial analysis, capital budgeting or financial planning

  • Knowledge of accounting and finance with experience in capital program development and management areas of accounting and finance.

  • Familiarity with working with accounting systems and other financial systems for reporting and to extract relevant data.

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office software applications with a focus on proficiency in MS excel and Word.

  • Communicate and work effectively with others, both orally and in writing with an emphasis on communicating complex financial information to executive leadership and department managers and professionals. 

  • Apply professional judgment to following standard and advanced accounting and financial techniques and principles.
  • Perform wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under pressure of time sensitive deadlines.;
  • Understand and follow oral and/or written policies', procedures and instructions.

Pay Rate:
 Commensurate with Experience
