Job Summary

Provides curriculum development and instructional design expertise, and training process support for supported business units.  Oversees curriculum management process.  Assists Training Administrator in implementing standardized curriculum, instructional development and management, training analytics, and training process compliance.  Creates training content and delivery assessment for application in settings across the business units.  Implements best practice instructional design methods to foster consistent training standards and effective learning for the student.  Assists with administering Learning Management System (LMS).  May directly deliver training programs as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING: 

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Communication, Business Management or closely related field.  Masters or additional certification in Instructional Design preferred.  Understanding of mechanical and automotive terminology preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE: 

Three years in content creation, including building Instructor/Student handbooks, Assessments, and E-Learning.  Demonstrated classroom presentation skills.  Strong relationship building abilities and influencing skills to pull people together around common goals.  Preferred experience: Developing training standards; knowledge of the ADDIE methodology or similar methods; and coordinating training efforts within a decentralized environment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Expert knowledge of corporate training program design and implementation.
  • Knowledge and application of project management processes and group facilitation methodologies
  • Advanced process management and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, cross-section team-working, and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including with outside agencies, consultants, executive level managers, and employees.
  • Skilled in computer use and the application of a variety of associated software to include Learning Management Systems preferably in SumTotal, Adobe Suite, and Articulate 360.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) at the intermediate level.
  • Experience with video editing software programs, such as Vyond, Premiere Pro, or FinalCut Pro.
  • Must have a valid Utah driver's license. Must be a safe driver with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years, and no more than 1 violation of driving under the influence of alcohol or any drug.within the last 10

Pay Rate: Starting at $68,471.52 annually based on experience
